The app for the 2026 BCCE, powered by Guidebook, is now available. With this resource, you have access to the most up-to-date information and can start building your personal schedule.
Downloading the App
To access the BCCE 2026 guide on your phone:
- Download the Ex Ordo app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android. Installation may take a few minutes.
- Once the app is installed, open the Ex Ordo app from your phone.
- You may create an account or log in with an existing mobile app account.
- To find the BCCE 2026 guide, go to the Passphrase tab the bottom right of the screen
- Enter the passphrase: bcce2026 and Press Continue.
Logging In and Notifications
You do not need to log in to view the guide, but you will need to log in if you would like to receive notifications from conference organizers or interact with other app users.
Please note: You must create a new account to log in to the mobile guide. Your Ex Ordo conference submission credentials will not be recognized in the mobile app.
Schedule Updates
Small schedule adjustments will continue to be made in the app through July 13, 2026. After that date, the app schedule will remain static, and any additional changes will be shared through app notifications.
Tips for Using the App
We have organized the app to make it easier to search the conference program and build your schedule.
Sessions by Day
The Sessions by Day section shows all sessions on a given day. Most program sessions begin with a letter that indicates the type of session:
S = Symposia
W = Workshops
B = Birds of a Feather
CC = Community Conversations
This section also includes conference registration, bonding breaks, poster sessions, and other conference activities. Tap on a session to see more information, including its location, abstract, talks, and other details. Tap the + to add the session to your personal schedule. You can add simultaneous events to your schedule by selecting continue when prompted about a scheduling conflict.
Community Conversations
Each evening, there will be two to three Community Conversations. These sessions bring together diverse panels designed to catalyze dialogue, reflection, and shared problem-solving around one of the conference contexts.
Connect
The Connect section shows all logged-in users who have public profiles. You can use your account settings to add information to your profile and choose whether your profile is public or private. To connect with another user, tap Add to the right of their name
Symposia by Conference Context
The Symposia by Conference Context section allows you to browse symposia connected to each conference context.
Within each context, symposia are listed in numerical abstract order. This order does not necessarily match chronological order, so be sure to check the time and day for each session.
Some symposia run across multiple time blocks. These are marked with letters, such as S65a, S65b, and so on.
Workshops and Posters by Conference Context
The Workshops by Conference Context and Posters by Conference Context sections allow you to browse workshops or posters connected to each conference context. These sections are organized by day.
Workshop note: No workshop is offered more than once. If a workshop appears multiple times on the same day, this means that the workshop runs across more than one time block.
Poster note: All posters are listed twice on the same day. The 2:00–3:30 pm listing is the interactive poster session, when presenters will be at their posters. Posters will remain up during the evening so attendees can browse them at their leisure.
